Education By Design

I’m a WV Certified Teacher in Mathematics and Elementary Education, too. This school year will begin my 21st year as a professional tutor running my own business and I truly love it! All of my instruction is one-on-one, and I teach students of all ages through college in most any subject. I also help with preparations for numerous standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, Praxis Core, Praxis, ASVAB and many more.

Throughout the past twenty years as a professional tutor, the best feeling I experience is every time I see my students' eyes light up when they understand a concept that was so difficult for them at first. I love the "lightbulb moment!" I also truly enjoy knowing that I've helped hundreds of students earn scholarships so that they can reach and surpass all of their dreams. I always wanted to be a teacher, and I believe that I've been blessed to live out my dream and help generations of students in the process!
