Engineer Turned Tutor
About
Hello! My name is Batoul and I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. I work for a medical device company that specializes in radiotherapy devices for tumor treatment, however after tutoring for over 6 years, I find a lot of joy continuing to make an impact on students who might need a bit of an extra push in the their STEM classes. I tutor age groups ranging from elementary school to college studies, meaning I can be a helping hand in elementary, middle, and high school math and science courses such as pre-algebra, algebra, trig, chemistry, biology, and others, and am also available for college level course tutoring within the STEM field. Reach out with any questions, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to use the first couple of sessions to gage the level of independence and how self-lead the student is when it comes to their studies and homework. I then like to incorporate techniques that I use with all my students to maximize the level of confidence the student portrays in their studies and work in hopes that the ultimate goal is for the student to be fully independent when an instructor or tutor is no longer guiding their learning.
