I work with individual students, families. or small groups, elementary and middle school-age, all subjects. I will customize the sessions to fit your needs. Many students need re-teaching or pre-teaching of topics. Often students come to me for help with homework completion. I am able to accomodate clients in-person or online for as often as needed. I work with students with a wide range of ability and learning styles!
I greatly enjoy helping kids gain confidence, seeing their grades go up and how happy they become once they realize they can reach their goals!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students usually come to my home with a parent, or a parent contacts me by phone and we go over the specific needs and academic goals. At this time I can explain what I can offer, and the family and I work through the details of the sessions (how often, days, times, subjects, etc.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the Milwaukee area as both a teacher and a private tutor since 2004. My experience covers all ages and subjects. I have worked in public schools, private schools, and out of my home. During the shutdown, I gained experience teaching online.
