About
I like to focus on what the student is struggling with more than creating a lesson plan. Sessions would be individual-focused and will include an example-based teaching method, so that skills learned in session can be applied to situations outside of session. My teaching style consists primarily of making connections between previously learned topics to make sense of new and complicated topics that are more often than not, a conglomeration of old topics that have already been covered.
I can teach for levels up through college-level mathematics, including abstract, proof-based algebra and discrete mathematics. I can teach up through college sophomore-level software engineering, including languages such as Java, Python, and C++, and common practices such as object-oriented programming, data-driven AI model training and tuning, and design patterns used in industry today. My Spanish is at a CEFR level B2, and specialize in grammar and writing.
