Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session: I become familiar with the subject and the student's level of understanding. I also get a feel for what they are looking to get out of each session. We then proceed from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my B.S. in Nuclear Science & Engineering from MIT in 2017, where I completed all the math courses required for an engineering degree (multi-variable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra). I tutored high school and middle school level math and other subjects in the Boston area throughout my time there. I am now a graduate student in the Engineering Physics department at UW-Madison. In my first two years here I took more math courses, and I now use math concepts on a daily basis in my research.
