It is important to develop a baseline of knowledge so tutoring conversations can start with a mutual foundation and understanding about the target content.
I try and keep it positive and understand people have differnt learning styles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an engieer by practice and currently do Mechanical Enigneering work.
Education includes AP courses in high school, math educaiton from algebra on throuhg to college level calculus.
