What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to discuss the goals of the student. Next is to discover all the things the student knows. Then build a house of knowledge starting from what a student knows
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I enjoy learning. I have a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University (graduated with distinction); an Associated Degree in Computer Engineering Technology (graduated with honors); Teaching Certification from Mount Mary Univeristy. Over ten years of in class teaching and one-on-one tutoring of Math and Computer Technology. Fifteen plus years of Computer Programming work experience.

There is a say "When the student is ready, a teacher will appear." My philosophy is that I will work with anyone who is ready to learn. From there pricing is established
How did you get started teaching?
I have taught where ever I worked. It is my nature to help when I see a person struggling or when I am asked to help
What types of students have you worked with?
My students range from 7th grade to college.
I work with the students who hear better when an instructor is talking directly to him or her. I work with students who I a great fear of math, some needing to take only one math class to clear a program. I work with students who need help with abstract concepts that begin with algebra.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Come with an open mind. If you are ready to learn, you will learn. Getting the wrong answer to a problem is not failure but DISCOVERY. Mastery of anything takes time. If you work with me expect a passion from me to help you learn,
