What is your typical process for working with a new student?
An initial assessment is done to see where the child is academically and document that information. The parent complete the appropriate paperwork to enroll and make payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with incarcerated individuals, tutored/mentored one student and have worked with my own children for 4 years. I tutor many children in the Milwaukee area in their identified areas of struggle. I am a member of the National Tutoring Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The rates are subject to change.
Group tutoring is $400 for 16 sessions per month. These sessions are twice a week each month. Private tutoring can be one-on-one or with one other student. That price is $52 per hour and each session is one hour in length.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have experience working with children who have IEPs for dyslexia, visual Impairments, ADHD and more. We also have experience working with children who are 1 to 9 grades behind and work to help close the achievement gaps.
