About
I have been working in education since 1997, beginning my career as a 4th grade teacher and gradually transitioning into middle school teaching. Over the years, I have built a strong foundation in both mathematics and language instruction, currently teaching at Milwaukee School of Languages.
I hold a bilingual teaching degree in English and French, which allows me to support a diverse group of students and adapt my teaching to different learning needs. My experience across grade levels has given me a deep understanding of how students develop academically and how to guide them toward success with patience and structure.
What I love most about my work is helping students gain confidence in subjects that often feel challenging, especially math and language learning. I enjoy seeing students grow, overcome obstacles, and realize their own potential. Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom has always been an important part of my teaching philosophy.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine strong subject knowledge with a personalized approach. I regularly tutor students and tailor my methods to fit each learner’s pace and style. My bilingual background also allows me to bridge communication gaps and make learning more accessible.
I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving strategies, and interactive techniques to make lessons engaging and effective. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build lasting skills and confidence that will support them in the future.
I am now looking to expand my tutoring beyond the school setting and reach more students who can benefit from dedicated, supportive instruction.
