About

As a Tutor I truly enjoy helping the student to work toward self-responsibility and self-direction. I am able to do this by helping the student learn not only the subject matter, but how to learn and approach new material/experiences. Especially in today's day and age learning classifications aren't just broken down into two groups: those who learns by watching and those who learn by doing. In our society today with the technological advancements and changes in social environments, the classification of learning methods cannot be narrowed down to two groups. As a Tutor I aim to aspire by learning how the student learns. Then adapting and building on their strengths with them, in order to achieve their life and educational goals.

Honestly, all it takes is one genuine and understanding connection to begin a stronger future for our students.

As a Tutor, I strongly believe my students are the future change makers. All they need sometimes is a little help and encouragement.

She didnt see me fory disabilities. She encouraged me to have more confidence in my abilities and be patient with myself. It was my second time taking Payroll Accounting 1, but with her help and guidance I was able to succeed and officially graduated with my certification in Payroll. She also allowed me to use her as a reference and I was able to land my first payroll assistant job last year. (2021)

Our Tutor with Aim2Aspire, shared her experience as a former foster youth and her advocacy for Foster Youth since then. Allowing us to have a better connection with her. After many years fostering, Maddie was our last foster daughter and struggled in all of her 5th grade subjects and the social environment due to trauma she experienced before she came into our care. But Ashley was patient and creative with creating goals and activities to get Maddie to love school again. While this was back in 2010 when she tutored Maddie, we have remained in touch with Ashley over the years and have connected her with our friends and family in need of a little extra help with their studies and projects.
