Hi!
I have been working with kids for years in tutoring, summer camps, and now as a teacher. As a 4-H leader, I have more hands on activities I do with students. I am a certified teacher for grades K-8 and have my Master's Degree. In my undergraduate degree I doubled majored in Social Work and Anthropology.
Not only do I teach 5th grade, but I also work with 4-H kids of all ages to learn how to cook, craft, service learning, and animal projects. I also teach government to teens in 4-H.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At first, I get to know the student. Learning is not only about content but also buliding relationships. Knowing a students interests, strengths, and weaknessess allow me to best serve the students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's in Teaching, certified teacher, and volunteer in 4-H.
