Now I have spent several years working as a substitute for our local school district, tutoring students and teaching in a preschool. Hi there....I am a graduate of Bastyr University with a degree in Applied Behavioral Science. I spent 6 years as a counselor serving families, women in transition, and kids . I've worked in Schools as a Speech Therapist having trained in that profession at Oregon State University. I also have worked as a private tutor to kids needing a boost. It is truly a pleasure to see them succeed. Currently I teach ESL to kids online. What a priceless connection that is! My style tends to be a combination of fun and focus. When working with my students, I love to find that unique quality, that special spark that feeds their desire to learn. .

I've been a paraeducator in the evergreen school district for a few years now and tutoring is my job. I really valued my education and I want to help other students succeed. I have experience working with special needs students, using conversational ASL, and I am especially confident helping with English paper writing. I love poetry and art in my free time and volunteering in schools. I believe that every student learns differently and I want to get to know your student so I can best help them understand the concepts of what they are learning.
