I am able to work well with neurodivergent students because I am neurodivergent myself. I want to help neurodivergent students and students with other special needs recognize that they have just as much potential as neurotypical students or students in the general education population. I've been a paraeducator in the evergreen school district for a few years now and tutoring is my job. I really valued my education and I want to help other students succeed. I have experience working with special needs students, using conversational ASL, and I am especially confident helping with English paper writing. I love poetry and art in my free time and volunteering in schools. I believe that every student learns differently and I want to get to know your student so I can best help them understand the concepts of what they are learning.
