Hi,
I am a student that just finished undergraduate at the University of Puget Sound majoring in Sociology and Anthropology and minoring in Education. I am extremely passionate about education and working towards getting my masters to become a teacher. I have been tutoring on and off for the last five years. I started in high school. This made me realize my passion for teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to talk to the parents separate from the kids and see what they thing they are struggling in and then bring the child into the discussion so we can make a plan to help improve their grades.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in education. I am currently working towards my masters. I have worked as a tutor many times and I am currently a lead teacher at a day care where I help support 16 students from k-6th grade with their studies.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a passion for it. I love the glee the child has when they realize something isn't as difficult as they thought it was.

I have worked with students ages between k-6th grade.
