About
Hi! I’m Dylan, a college student currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Engineering. I’ve always loved problem-solving and working with numbers, and I’m passionate about helping others build confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
As someone actively studying these fields, I bring a fresh and relatable perspective to tutoring. I understand the challenges students face because I’ve faced them too, and I know how to break concepts down in a way that actually makes sense.
I work with middle school, high school, and early college students, and I tailor each session to your unique goals and learning style. Let’s tackle challenges together and make progress you can be proud of!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I start working with a new student, my first priority is getting to know you—your learning goals, current challenges, and how you learn best. In our first session, we’ll have a conversation about what subjects or topics you want to focus on, any upcoming assignments or exams, and your overall comfort level with the material.
From there, I create a personalized approach tailored to your needs. Some students prefer step-by-step guidance, while others need help building study strategies or reviewing specific problem areas. I adjust my teaching style to match what works best for you.
Each session is interactive, encouraging you to ask questions and think critically. My goal is not just to help you get the right answers, but to understand the “why” behind them—so you can become more confident and independent in your learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Engineering at North Idaho College, where I’ve built a strong foundation in advanced math and problem-solving techniques. My coursework includes subjects like calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations—skills I apply directly in my tutoring.
In addition to my academic studies, I’ve spent time helping classmates and younger students understand challenging concepts, which has given me hands-on experience in explaining complex ideas clearly and patiently. I’m also continuously learning and refining my teaching approach to make sure I can support students at all levels, from middle school through early college.
