What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I understand that every individual has skills that they excel at and areas that challenge them. My process begins with getting to know my student, asking them questions to better understand their learning processes and the ways in which they most enjoy learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently work at my university's writting center and offer peer-guidance on essays and research projects. I also volunteer in a Montessori 1st-3rd grade classroom where I assist the teacher in guiding lessons and help students with reading and math homework assignments. Additonally, I've spent time helping high school seniors apply to college and perfect their admissions essays.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible and want to offer support to your family in a financially accessible way. My rate is typically $25 an hour.

I've worked with all ages of students! Most recently, I have spent a lot of time in the classroom with 6-9 year olds. I have a lot of experience with high school students as well.
