About
I have been a Special Education teacher for 6 years. I have taught Life Skills and Functional Academics in high school settings, as well as Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Skills in a Middle School setting. I was an after-school tutor for elementary and middle school students while studying for my undergrad. I can assist students who need extra work in phonics, basic reading comprehension, and fluency skills, as well as those who are working on grade level material. I work with students and their families to ensure the student is reaching for the correct goals.
