I studied Spanish at university and continue learning about language and etymology to this day.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to know what students are excited about. Movies, music, books? This will help me to point you in a direction for inspired learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a tutor in math, English, and Spanish.
Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Linguistics.
I am also very interested in etymology. Etymological knowledge is useful in creating mnemonics to help you remember.
How did you get started teaching?
Tutoring in high-school and university.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is good if you can have fun talking with your teacher. Learning is easier when it is fun.
