I am an experienced educator with over twenty years experience in teaching, leadership and management in schools in North America and Barbados. Being a certified Reading Specialist and qualified highly skilled educator who enjoy assisting students to achieve their highest potential, I welcome students from aged four year tto adulthood. I have been the assigned Principal of the top performing elementary school in Barbados for the past seven years. Each year we have been able to further reduce the achievement gap in literacy and numeracy between males and females students. My team and I are currently engaged in action research to collect data to pilot a program to assist students affected by dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalcula. Our motto is Word hard Smile and Never Stop Learning. Our vision is to lead individuals to social responsibility and societal competence while offering quality learning experiences to all persons while we create a place where all persons can SMILE-Succeed Manage Initiate Learn Experience.
