Ms. Williams has been tutoring me AP Language and Composition because I was having a hard time understanding what my teacher at school was trying to convey. Ms. Willams is extremely thorough in her explanations of the material in the course and explains things in a way that makes it easy to comprehend. She makes this class make sense to me. Shes easy going, friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her as a tutor!

I have a Bachelor's degree in English, a Master's degree in English Education, and I hold a current Virginia teaching license.

How did you get started teaching?
As an English who loves working with kids, teaching seemed like the obvious choice!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught and/or tutored students in English Language Arts from 3rd grade to 10th grade. I have worked with both struggling and advanced learners, and have 10+ years of experience working with students who have IEPs or 504 plans.
