We do only one-on-one tutoring, this is the best way to tutor a student.
I have been in education most of my life and my Father was a Dean at a Univeristy and I was a VP of a Boston college and we have grown up students that were tutored the way we do it and it works. I retired 10 years ago and started Tutor A Team and we are not the largest and best tutoring in the Hampton Roads area!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. We talk on the phone first.
2. Establish a meeting generally at your home and at no charge to you. We do not have salesman and we don't have any contracts with our clients
3. Agree to work together and then
4. We assign you a professional tutor to work with you. We give you all their credentials and we pay them direct.
5. Tutor calls and arranges a time to meet your student at either your home or local library.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from College with an ROTC commission, was in the Army and left as a Captain.
Worked in Pittsburgh with a large company.
Started a consulting company to colleges.
Retired as a VP of a collge in Boston area and moved to Chesapeake, VA
Started Tutor A Team in 2010 to help children with the best tutoring in Hampton Roads.
Have won the Virginian Pilot Best of Tutoring for 10 straight years and #1 with Angies list.
