Hello! Thanks for looking at my profile - I would love to have the opportunity to tutor you! I just graduated from William and Mary with a math degree, and although I’m new to tutors.com, I have experience tutoring throughout college. I also taught at a summer math camp for gifted students for two years, so I am happy and able to meet you wherever you’re at mathematically.
I absolutely love teaching and tutoring. I love getting to know my students and helping them overcome any mathematical challenges or anxieties they may have. Math shouldn’t be a cause of anxiety for anyone, but sadly it is for far too many. I’m here to make your life less stressful and to help you enjoy math a little more :)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first spend time assessing the student's needs, ability level, and learning style. Then together with the student, we can develop a plan of action, including what materials to use, how often to meet, and goals we would like to meet by the end of our time together.
