Skill Strengthening
About
I have been writing papers for years. It is my strong point. I am used to doing research papers as well as organizing ideas for creative writing. It all starts the same way by organizing your ideas. I am also a preschool teacher so I have tons of patience. I am used to breaking down information in steps so my students have a better understanding. I have a bachelors in sociology and criminal justice. I presently teach English to kids in China, I teach a preschool aged curriculum and I have a class on writing techniques.
I enjoy helping people create. My students mainly fall into the toddler range but I have taught and tutored kids of all ages in many subjects. However my emphasis is on writing as that is what I am best at. Writing research papers and other types of work comes natural to me and I enjoy turning in a great paper.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My usual process is to get to know them first. I find out their strong/weak points and we go from there to strengthen what they have having trouble with. It takes time and practice but any skill can be made stronger.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree focuses on writing. I mainly do research papers but I am well versed in other types of writing as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching when I had my internship and I was tutoring kids after school. I then became a youth development leader for the YMCA's programs. After that I was a preschool teacher for three year olds.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from toddlers to sixteen. I have also helped adults with their research papers for college courses.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to feel out and learn their teaching style to see if it is a good fit for them. Everyone learns differently as well as every teacher teaches differently. You can always shop around to find the best help for yourself!
