Two experienced educators with over 25 years of teaching experience each have opened The Virtual Learning Academy. We are here to support your child's remote learning experience while supporting the curriculum and offering enrichment activities. We have a 1 to 4 teacher/ student ratio. We offer full day support at the Learning Academy. Our hours are 8:30 to 2:45 Monday thru Thurs. We charge $60 a day. That is only $10 an hour for 2 certified teachers! You can choose from one to four days a week.
CDC covid guidelines will be strictly followed.
We are life long educators and love working with children. Knowledge is power and we both get joy seeing our students succeed and become successful.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will always access the student's needs first and establish a baseline for learning. We work closely with the student and their virtual learning while offering support along the way. We have learning activities to support your child's virtual learning. We also offer outdoor time playing croquet, badmitton, ring toss etc....
Students bring their own lunch and may eat inside or sit outside on the comfortable outdoor patio furniture. Several breaks will be given throughout the day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Penny has 25 years teaching experience in middle school and Julianne retired as an administrator from NNCS. We are both certified teachers and have worked in the public school system for many years.

Full school day from 8:30 to 2:45. Price is $60 per day and you may choose 1 to 4 days. ( Mon - Thurs)
