Hey there!
My name is Bhakti Desai - I am a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
I have been tutoring professionally for the last four years and would like to expand my skills to helping students achieve their full potential online as well. I graduated from the IB program in high school and with a BA in English from VCU.
I like assesing the ways in which students learn in order to teach them in a way that will make life and classes easier for them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to do an over the phone interview to talk with the student for a few minutes about where they need help and how we can work together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been professionally tutoring students for the last four years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My first lesson is $20, every lesson after that is priced at $18.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after I realized that there were students who were smart but did not understand the one-way teaching method that our school systems often tend to employ.
