Ruth Magee, Tutor

Hi, my name is Ruth and I have a passion for helping people learn. I was home schooled along with many siblings by very well-educated parents. I made excellent grades, and started tutoring my younger siblings when I was middle-school-aged. I have tutored them for 5+ years in a variety of subjects, including math, science, English, social studies, and standardized test prep. I have had some payed tutoring experience as well, teaching middle school and high school math and ACT prep. I believe very strongly that learning is necessary and learning is also fun, but learning is different for each person. I adapt my style to fit my students' personalities to make the tutoring experience successful and enjoyable for the student.
