Kyrie B. says, "I worked with Chidubem over the summer for Java tutoring because I wanted to learn it before I took my Data Structures class next semester and she was great! I learned more about coding with Java with her than I learned from my literal college class. I am so happy I found her as a tutor. She's great!" Read more

Hi, my name is Sylvia, and I love working with students! Here's a fun fact about me: I can recite every line of the movie The Princess Bride. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am a friendly, outdoorsy, athletic, and talkative type of person! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Economics at the University of St. Andrews and have been tutoring for 2 years. Because Math and Science tend to

Reviews for Leesburg math tutors

Recent success stories from people in the Leesburg area.
Amelia N.
Chidubem has been tutoring my daughter since February this year, and she has been more than amazing. She helped us with Algebra, Biology, and SAT prep tutoring, and my daughter has been getting much higher scores and feeling way more comfortable with school since we started with her. She got an A in both classes (she had struggled with getting A's in Math before) and a 1410 on her SAT (up from 1250 in her PSAT!!). We had a tutor before Chidubem, but unfortunately, they were not able to form the relationship Chidubem had created with her. I am honestly so insanely grateful for Chidubem; she has made my daughter much more interested in school and studying in general and she is just amazing. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!

Dolores and I started working together my freshman year of college when I struggle with pre calculus and kept working together for the 3 following years as I had to take Calc 1 and 2 and linear algebra for my Computer science major. She’s the best teacher I’ve ever had, even better than my professors, and it was a blessing to be able to work with her all these years! Thank you so much Dolores »
