Currently, I am President of the Interact and Connect club. Interact is a community service club where we hold fundraisers such as the JDRF walk which we donated money we raised to the TYPE 1 diabetes research. Connect Club is a club I helped co-found. Which is a BIPOC club were students at my school can come together and discuss today's current events. We meet and have life-changing discussions where we are truly able to connect with another no matter what race, sex, religion, and gender. The reason I bring up these clubs is that it's where I can truly be myself. Having an outlet to inspire others through the work I can do is something I strive to do every day.
I am a high school student myself and at times studying and school just isn't it. Although due to my upbringing I was taught to never quit. So instead I put my trust in the books and tutored through NHS (National Honor Society) in order to help others. I have a calling to fulfill which is to help those in need through tutoring as best as I can. Through tutors.com I can be able to meet this goal. I offer Spanish 1, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra 1, and English help as well. I can meet Monday and Wednesday 4-5 pm through zoom call. I hope I can work with you!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would first assess my student's weaknesses and strengths. With that I can be able to curate a lesson plan on whatever it is they may need my help in. From there we will take on the lesson plan together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a Junior and I attend a selective, Private Boarding Highschool in Virginia. I have currently above a 4.0 GPA.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching because of the experiences my teachers and parents brought to me. I remember sitting at the dining table with dad till 10 pm trying to figure out my math homework. My goal is to get fewer students out of the dining table with dad or mom or whoever stays up with you to do your homework.
