I am a second-year graduate student at James Madison University. I will be receiving a Master's in Occupational Therapy by the end of next year. I am currently working as a tutor with a company named Eye Level and wish to get involved with other tutoring opportunities in the Harrisonburg area.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
While trying to get to know a new student, I let the student guide the first few sessions. This allows them to feel comfortable and open with me. I like to give the student as much autonomy as possible while still remaining structure throughout the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a Master's in Occupational Therapy student at James Madison University. I have worked with children in many different practice settings. I am also currently an employed tutor teaching children between the ages of 8-13 years old Math and English. I am looking to gain more hours.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a passion to work with children. When I graduate from Occupational Therapy School, I wish to continue working with children.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with primarily younger children between the ages of 5-15 years old.
