About
Elementary Tutoring will help the learner by coming down to their level and really helping them understand the basics of what they are learning. Elementary Tutoring does its best to engage with children and build them up in their confidence and understanding. While new to the tutoring game, our founder has a Bachalor's Degree in Interdiscinplinary Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education. She has had several years practicum experience in the classroom and many more years experience in childcare.
My favorite part of education is seeing children understand a new concept. Many times, students are scared away from learning because they are told they can't do it, or they become bored because they are being spoon fed information. I desire to open students eyes to the wonders of learning something new.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Most importantly, I want to get to know the student first. What do they like to do? Who do they like to spend time with? What's their favorite school subject and why? What's their least favorite subject and why?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Interdiscinplinary Liberal Studies and a minor in Elementary Education.
