I tutor a seond-grader from Vietnam. We learn from each other. It brings me joy that he looks forward to me coming. He never knows what I will bring or what game/activity we will do.

I am a VA certified teacher (PK-6) in my 16th year of teaching. I also have my masters degree in Leadership in Math Education which certifies me to teach Math for K-8. The majority of my teaching career has been in 5th/6th grade math. Additionally, I have been privately tutoring students in grades 4-9 in various concepts of math for 10+ years.

As a current special education teacher with 5 years of teaching K-5th grade and several years of tutoring, I am constantly up to date with every subject in the elementary grades.
