I pride myself on teaching my students how they learn. For example, if a student needs to have equations repeated to them in order to learn, I have them rewrite and reread the equations until it is second nature. My business is based on increasing confidence while teaching.

My approach to teaching math, is to teach math the old-fashioned way, without calculators. Students today have lost the ability to do simple calculations in their heads. This causes them trouble on test day, because it takes much longer. Teachers today are focused on passing the state tests, rather than actually teaching math. Hello! I am active duty military but I am currently working from home due to the pandemic and touching a little into my favorite hobby of helping young people! With everything that is going on a lot of students require virtual learning at this time and it's just not always the best fit. I was a 4.0 high school student and received multiple full rides to different college but wanted to serve my country. I am very versatile in the subjects that I can teach when it comes to k-12 grades students as I had to do it my whole life with my younger siblings!
