I currently work as a paraprofessional in middle school focusing on Math and Science. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages training and educating on different aspects not only in the educational workplace but also the professional workplace.

Hello, my name is Alex, and I'm excited to be working with you as a tutor. In terms of my education, I have a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics. Additionally, I've worked as a math teacher, which has given me valuable insights into different types of student learning and teaching methods. I believe that learning should be engaging and personalized, and my approach to tutoring is to work with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop a customized plan that will help them achieve their academic goals. I have years of math tutoring experience. I love math. I love it so much that I took extra math classes in college. I specialize in Algebra and Geometry. But more importantly, I am a people person. I am flexible and try to work with each student’s needs.

I love what I do! I have 29 years years of experience in public education. I have mostly worked with elementary students but I am certified PreK-12. I know the Va. standards and curriculum, and I am currently writing a curriculum for a private daycare. I have access with programming that will assist in Reading and Math.
