I have years of math tutoring experience. I love math. I love it so much that I took extra math classes in college. I specialize in Algebra and Geometry. But more importantly, I am a people person. I am flexible and try to work with each student’s needs.

Hello, my name is Alex, and I'm excited to be working with you as a tutor. In terms of my education, I have a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics. Additionally, I've worked as a math teacher, which has given me valuable insights into different types of student learning and teaching methods. I believe that learning should be engaging and personalized, and my approach to tutoring is to work with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop a customized plan that will help them achieve their academic goals. I love what I do! I have 29 years years of experience in public education. I have mostly worked with elementary students but I am certified PreK-12. I know the Va. standards and curriculum, and I am currently writing a curriculum for a private daycare. I have access with programming that will assist in Reading and Math.
