I am a local high school graduate with a passion for teaching younger students and helping them achieve their academic goals. I graduated as an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate, a high GPA, multiple honor societies and will be specializing in engineering in university.
I believe that any child can achieve their academic dreams with the right guidance and I am a huge proponent of encouraging STEM in both young boys and especially girls. I will not only tutor for basic understanding of the subject, but for a more wide view that will help them later on.
I have been tutoring children for over 5 years both volunteering and paid work. I specialize in all subjects from K-8.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by becoming familiar with the student, getting to know them and how they learn is very important to their understanding of the subject. I start by asking them a couple of sample questions that helps me figure out what is the best way they learn and then i move on to helping them figure out whatever it is they are struggling in.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I price the sessions through a flat rate system or a adjustable fee based on the needs/preferences of the customer. I am very flexible with pricing, as long as you communicate.
Cumulative System
•30 minutes - $20
•45 minutes - $30
•1 hour -$40
Flat Rate
•30 minutes - $30
•Every additional 10 minutes is $7
•Flat Rate pricing is a minimum of 1 hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of students from preschool all the way until 8th grade. I have worked with students of all learning abilities and of learning preferences.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say to not pick a tutor based solely on what they can offer, but to look at the personal preferences of the child and how they best learn. The ultimate goal is to help the child develop proper study skills to help them later in their academic career.
