Math is more of a hobby to me, I like knowing the "Old-school" math and knowing how it relates to the "New Math" strategy. By tutoring, this helps me connects to math when it changes over time. Theres many path to get one answer.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find their strength in math and use that to overcome their weakness. That can be either counting, equations, reading, problem solving, patience, and so on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated High School with a Diploma at 16, one of my electives was AP Calculus. I am currently in College about to graduate next year. I am pretty new to tutoring as being certified, but I have tutored family members as a hobby.

Since I am starting this tutoring opportunity, I believe starting rate is $25.00 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
Tutoring family, family friends, and some high school.
What types of students have you worked with?
From K-7th grade, I have tutored some sudents in high school but only for a bit because I graduated early.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy Roller Skating, I just started about a month ago.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that is willing to be patient with you because math is the skill for problem solving which will benefit you in the future, whether its for school, work, skills, daily activities, and so on.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Will I want to work with this teacher? Can he/she make me a better student in math?
