About
Oxford Learning Source is a Utah grown company, that has been a part of the valley for nearly 30 years. We offer after school tutoring as well as a full time, internationally accredited, small group, direct instruction private academy.
We are a fully accredited learning center, with direct instruction and personalized programs, by qualified teachers. Our accreditation means that students can earn credit directly through us, which will earn them a letter grade to be transfered to their current school and added to their transcripts.
Students have their own personalized programs, and work at their own pace - they don't move on until they fully understand each section. This means students will never get left behind. If earning a credit, this means students can redo an area as many times as necessary until they have mastered it, and earn the grade that they want.
We offer tutoring in all subjects, including ACT/SAT prep, Reading, Writing, Math and more. This can be in the form of Homework Help, or a personalized program with the option for earning credit

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We typically begin with testing to determine the strengths and weaknesses of a new student. This allows us to create a unique program for each student that will focus on the things the student truly needs to learn, and focus less on the things that they do not. After we have created the Prescriptive Program, a student is paired with an instructor that will help them reach their goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our tutors all have bachelor degress or higher, and/or a speciality in the specific subject being taught.
