Sharon Pinkerton
About
I am an experienced and dedicated educator with over 22 years of service across diverse and often challenging learning environments. My background includes working in alternative education, a correctional facility, and currently a girls’ home, along with experience in traditional middle and high school settings. These roles have allowed me to develop a strong ability to connect with non-traditional learners and students who may feel overlooked or disengaged in typical classroom settings.
I am passionate about creating a supportive, respectful learning environment where all students feel seen, valued, and capable of success. My strength lies in building meaningful relationships, adapting instruction to meet individual needs, and helping students rediscover their confidence and motivation for learning. I take pride in reaching those who have been pushed aside and guiding them toward academic and personal growth.
