About
MY SERVICE
I am a kind, caring, and patient individual who is willing to stick with the student until they achieve academic success and begin to progress, whether that is one session or many. I do not believe there is an unteachable student and that every individual is as capable as being as smart as they desire to be.
MY EXPERIENCE
-Currently a sophomore at Brigham Young University
-BYU GPA: 3.93
-High School GPA: 4.0 (took honors, concurrent enrollment classes, advanced placement courses, and completed two semesters at the University of Utah)
-Graduated High School with High Honors, 6 Honor Cords, and the Seal of Biliteracy
-Helped tutor my peers in National Honors Society
-Have 3 younger siblings who I have helped mentor and tutor from elementary school to high school (so I am relatively familiar with the current content in various grade levels)
I have always loved to learn and aspire for others to feel the same joy I have for it. I love teaching and helping others understand concepts that were once perplexing seem more simple and understandable. I am also willing to review or relearn any concept that is needed.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It would be to first get to know the student a little bit so we are familiar to one another and not strangers. For one session students, identify the concepts where additonal support is needed or needs more elaboration. For long term students, set goals of how they would like to progress and in each session complete tasks that will help them to advance towards their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed high school with honors cords in English, Math, the Seal of Biliteracy, Sports, and two high honor academic awards. I have taken various high level classes in high school in a range of subjects and completed university level credits. As far as generals, I have almost completed all of my GEs and am currently working on business courses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a specific pricing system but I do like to negociate with the individual who is paying for the tutoring so both parties feel as if the pricing is fair. I would say the average is typically about $25
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mainly tutored my own siblings who's natural intellectual abilities vary from being very inclined to learning to needing more support. Because of this, I am able to approach and appeal to all ranges on the scale. Additionally, I have worked with and tutored my friends in a variety of subjects and they too have an ability of ranges and personalities.
