I love to help students find joy in learning!
While in college, I worked as a math tutor, helping fellow students to succeed in College Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
I also have some experience teaching English as a second language.
In addition to math, I can help with coding (C++, Python), English, and Spanish.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am accustomed to teaching over Zoom, and would be happy to schedule a meeting with potential students. I like to get to know the student to see what level of experience they already have and identify where they need help the most. I know it is critical for teachers and learners to be compatible, and I strive to adapt my teaching style to match the student's needs.
In my experience, students have only needed me for homework help and test preparation, but I am open to the idea of preparing brief lectures on relevant subject matter.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a senior in software engineering, so I have lots of practice with math and its applications! I have worked as an on-campus math tutor, teaching both online and in-person. I had a few opportunities to teach a big lecture, but I definitely prefer working one-on-one or in small groups.
What types of students have you worked with?
I am most experienced helping college-age students.
