I am currently hold a bachelors degree in Environmental Science and I am working to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am very proficient in Mathematics up to Calculus I. I enjoy teaching and helping students understand and achieve their goals in math and science.
I enjoy teaching and helping students understand Mathematics and Science! Being able to complete problems with confidence is what I strive for. I feel I have a good ability to break down the problem and approach it on the students level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am flexible in my approach with students. The most important part of learning mathematics is practice. Ultimately learning comes in three stages. 1. Learning theory. 2. Seeing the process through practice problems. 3. Practicing the application.
Mathematics builds upon itself. Sometimes, students don't understand a topic because they fell behind on previous topics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Environmental Science. I currently work as a Licensed Environmental Health Scientist for the Salt Lake County Health Department.
I'm working on a second bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
