Radiant Mathematics

Hello! I am a working professional with an over a decade of tutoring experience. I’ve tutored math for learners as young as elementary school all the way up to various university courses. I’ve spent time substitute teaching both short and extended periods in middle and high schools, especially in math classes. I strongly believe that everyone is capable of learning and excelling in math once they can make connections to not just how to do something but the why behind it as well. My approach to learning is to teach concepts and connect those to what they already know. From there, I let them lead out in problem solving as they work through their study material. I want to help my students become empowered to succeed when I’m not there to answer their questions.

In addition to math, I am fully conversational in Spanish and have an intermediate understanding of its grammar as well.
