I have been tutoring and teaching English for over 6 years, but I have been a dedicated writer for over 10. I have an associate's degree and am working on my bachelors while also being a single mom.
I am a published writer and a positive, enthusiastic person. I throw myself into every project with maximum effort, and I truly love to teach. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who will work harder for you than me.
Writing has been my life and has helped me through some of my toughest times. I value it as such an amazing medium to convey whatever you want, and something everyone deserves to learn.
I love teaching others the skills that have so benefitted me throughout my life. I'm also a very social person, and I love working with people of all kinds.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will assign a simple writing assignment to assess where you're skill level is at, then we will go over that first paper together and edit it.
I focus on grammar and sentence structure first. Once I'm sure you understand those, then I will teach and critique other things, such as sentence flow and active vs passive voice.
