ACT English And Reading Tutor

I am an English major at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where I have a GPA of 3.82. I received a 31 on my ACT, with a perfect 36 on the English section and a 35 on the reading section. I was editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper for two years as well as a writing coach, so my editing and proofreading skills are very high quality. I also received a score of 5 on both my AP U.S. History and AP Literature exams. I'm very passionate about reading and writing and I would love to help a student who struggles in English.

I love teaching and helping students understand how the ACT works! Many students (myself included before I figured out the tricks) believe that the ACT is impossible to do well on because it doesn't operate according to the rules of any other test they've taken in the past. However, there are several extremely useful tips that helped me boost my score immensely. A lot of students find the English and Reading sections particularly challenging, and my goal is to help them feel confident on test day.
