Hi, I'm Matt. I am a PhD qualified, experienced tutor with a passion for teaching my subjects to students. I have a PhD in Mathematics and Physics from Cambridge University, UK (Trinity College) and a MSci in Physics and Mathematics. I tutored first and second year undergraduates in mathematics and physics while at Cambridge as well as 1 on 1 high school students for exam and college preparation. I have also tutored business professionals looking to pass prerequisites for advanced degrees.
After my PhD, I went into the professional workplace and had a successful career in the corporate world for almost 2 decades, working in London, New York and Houston. Raising my own family reignited my passion for teaching subjects that I enjoy.
I find it extremely fulfilling to work with a student to grasp new concepts, teach how to solve new problems and to give them the confidence they need to be empowered.
