Math Tutoring

Im so not a math person. Practical applications of algebra might as well have been Russian because I there were words on the screen, but I didnt understand them.

Ryan really really knows how to explain it all: actually in a few different ways now that Im thinking about it, so anyone can understand. It all made sense after he broke it down for me. Ill totally working through the next class that involves math with him. Do yourself a favor and let him tutor you!!

Ryan is an excellent tutor. He does a fantastic job accommodating my insane incompetence with math by organizing material tailored to what Im studying in class, and is even kind enough to include review of the mathematical building-blocks Im missing. He is very flexible with his hours and prompt in his responses, and I find his teaching incredibly engaging. Ryan has a superb sense of pacing when it comes to his teaching and expertly takes into account where I struggle, going so far as to review the concepts ad infinitum with god-like patience until I finally have a concept hammered down. He has essentially become my stand-in math teacher in order for me to succeed in my class and has far-surpassed the instruction of my *actual* math teacher by leagues. I cannot recommend his services more.
