I have been tutoring for over eight years from five years old to college age. I've worked mainly with junior high and high school students.

I love being able to help students who are struggling to understand concepts in the time constraint of the classroom and give them the intentional time needed to comprehend their studies. I want students to love learning, not dread it.

My teaching style is based on understanding their learning style and using that to best explain what they don't know. From there, I give them opportunities to use this information on their own and come to their own conclusions. This way, during class, a quiz or a test, they can hopefully apply what I've taught them, even if I'm not there.
