I have many years of experience as a math teacher and as a math tutor. I understand students' frustration with math and work diligently to help them overcome the frustration and fear of math.
I love students and I love math so helping students gain confidence and overcome the confusion of math is a double blessing for me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I listen to the student and the parents about past struggles and strive to develop a plan to help the student understand the math that was previously difficult for him/her.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught math and tutored for many years. I have a masters degree in mathematics but I can explain math content on the student's level. I also teach college students how to be teachers and help them write lesson plans and deliver lessons that engage and inspire students.
