Upward Tutoring

Hi, I'm Larissa, and I have taught middle school math for 17 years. When I teach a concept or skill, I help you discover ways to problem solve. I will ask you questions to help you think through a problem and see how the math works. I find it very interesting to see the different ways students think through problems, and I will encourage you to find ways to work that make sense for you. This helps you understand the concept much deeper and also helps you understand new concepts that you will learn later.
