With 16 years experience teaching 5th - 12th ELA, I am able to help students of all levels grammar, vocabulary, spelling, essay writing, essay editing and revision, and test prep. I recently 12th grade AP Literature and Composition as well. I am now teaching 7th grade ELA and I am certified in English, Speech, and ESL. I teach in Tyler, Texas and look forward to working with students in need. I truly believe that all students can succeed if they are given the tools to believe in themselves.
I enjoy the Light Bulb Moment when a student realizes that he or she can do the work. Seeing the excitement on their faces when they understand a concept or novel is rewarding in a way that is hard to desribe.

I have always had a love for children and learning. Years ago, when I was unhappy in my carreer, I decided to pursue education, and I have never looked back!
