I am an IB diploma graduate from Temple High School. I was a Math UIL and Mu Alpha Theta member throughout high school. I graduated Top 2% of my class.
I believe math is something that everyone can love and understand if broken down and explained well. I simply want to expose students to the joy and satisfaction of understanding math and finding success in their studies.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first hear the student and what they feel their weaknesses or questions are in their math studies. Then, I will visually break down math processes so that they are simple and easy to comprehend. Once the basis of a math process is understood, then the complexity can increase as needed for their math level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I made a 700/800 on my SAT math score. I am an International Bachelorette (IB) graduate. I have excelled in math throughout my high school career. My mother is a teacher, so I have been told many times that I take after her qualities in being able to explain my knowledge effectively to others.
